  LOCATION   DIABOLOS | WARD 11 | PLOT 55 | SPEAKEASY | TRADEHUB | MATURE RP

Hidden within Yanxia’s veiled forests, Kagami no Mori stands as a sanctuary for those who walk between worlds. By lantern light and drifting blossoms, its halls hum with quiet magic—where onmyoji, yokai, and wayward spirits find refuge from mortal eyes. Yet for those who do not cross the veil, its doors open as a TRADEHUB and SPEAKEASY, a front of fragrant herbs, rare tonics, and whispered bargains beneath the hum of stringed instruments and soft laughter.

Neutral Ground

Kagami no Mori also serves as a neutral hub for roleplayers outside our FC. We often collaborate with other groups and welcome visitors to our events, encouraging cross-community connections. Mori is meant to be a safe space, a place where players from different walks of RP can come together without politics or pressure, simply to enjoy the art of shared storytelling.

Collaborative Storytelling

Everything in Mori revolves around story arcs and events. We design our FC to be a living narrative, one where members can contribute, grow, and explore the themes of the veil, the kami, and the balance between worlds. While we encourage creativity, we are selective in keeping Mori aligned to its narrative purpose: a space for character development through story, not a casual hangout.

Speakeasy & Tradehub

Kagami no Mori thrives also as a hidden tradehub, a bridge between Yanxia and the Shroud where goods travel by lake along a route forged between Haru, the Kekkai Shu of Mori, and her considered brother Sahil of the Sylphlands. Inquire within for a menu should you desire herbs, salves, potions, or perhaps something more arcane — charms and other whispered workings for those who know how to ask.Behind this commerce lies the speakeasy, where lanterns glow soft, sake flows freely, and song sometimes drifts through the hush of the halls. To some, it is only a place to drink in peace; to others, it is an unspoken invitation, a front that welcomes yokai, occultists, and veil-walkers alike to gather, linger, and perhaps find their way into the fold of Kagami no Mori.

Shroud & Yanxia Focus

Kagami no Mori is a story-focused roleplay community that bridges two worlds: the spiritual wilds of the Black Shroud and the ancestral lands of Yanxia. Our narratives draw from both, the Shroud’s deep ties to elementals, Hearers, and veils of aether, and Yanxia’s rich traditions of ritual, kami, and Eastern mysticism. We see Mori as a living tapestry where these two cultures meet, overlap, and sometimes clash. This dual focus allows for stories that explore displacement, belonging, and what it means to walk between worlds. Whether your character’s roots lie in the Twelveswood, in Yanxia, or somewhere in between, Mori is built to explore those crossings through arcs, events, and collaborative storytelling.

Banners.

.

Banner : Tsukikage 月影

Tsukikage are the sword-arm of Kagami no Mori, hunters, guardians, and exorcists who keep the veil defended when words and ritual are no longer enough. They move as silent silhouettes beneath moonlight, their blades flashing like shards of night. To walk this path is to balance ferocity with restraint: they are not butchers, but keepers of order, striking only when threats arise. Those who bear the mantle of Tsukikage learn to track restless spirits through shadow, to cleanse corruption with steel, and to guard the threshold between worlds with their very lives. They embody loyalty, vigilance, and sacrifice, shedding blood not for glory but for balance. When the forest stirs with unease, it is Tsukikage who answer the call.

Banner : Hikaribi 光火

Hikaribi are the mystics who carry the spiritual flame, tending to the unseen world with reverence and care. Their hands weave sutras, their dances echo prayers, and their foxfire wards burn away the lingering despair of spirits who have lost their way. In Kagami no Mori, they are healers not just of the body, but of the soul — guiding the weary back toward the light of harmony.Whether they serve as ritualists invoking kami, mediums soothing restless echoes, or herbalists tending both mortal and spirit alike, the Hikaribi embody warmth, wisdom, and compassion. They are the balance to Tsukikage’s steel, offering fire as guidance rather than weapon, reminding all who enter that light can heal just as surely as it can burn.

Banner : Ayakashi 妖し

Ayakashi are the enigmatic heart of Kagami no Mori, the liminal, the uncanny, the tricksters who walk most easily between worlds. Kitsune who weave illusions, dancers who blur truth and dream, whisperers who pluck secrets from the air, all gather under this banner. They are neither wholly of light nor wholly of shadow, embodying the shifting, mercurial nature of the veil itself.Their role is subtle but indispensable: to remind mortals and spirits alike that the veil cannot be grasped or bound. They deceive to protect, mislead to enlighten, and obscure to preserve what must not yet be revealed. Within Ayakashi lies both danger and beauty, masks that hide, reflections that twist, and a laughter that is never quite at ease.
